The hospital qualified for the magazine’e “Honor Roll” in its 2009 edition of America’s Best Children’sd Hospitals. The Honor Roll is reserved for hospitalsw that achieved ranking in all surveyed specialty areas covered by the monthlynews publication. Children’s rankedr in the top 10 in six specialty includingcancer (No. 10), diabetess and endocrine disorders (No. 10), digestivde disorders (No. 5), neonatal care (No. 8), orthopedic (No. 8) and respiratory disorderz (No. 5). Last year, Children’s was ranked No. 7 overall among the nation’s pediatric hospitals. In 2007, it finished at No. 4.
Becausde of a change in how the reporwas compiled, there was no general numerical rankintg this year.
